This Series Was Designed to Create Envy. The Good Kind.
Remote Workers for Remote Villages – A (not-so-humble) live webinar series
You know that kind of envy that’s not mean, but motivational?
That moment when you’re in a call, squinting at someone’s window and thinking:
"Wait, is that... a castle? A vineyard? The Dolomites?"
Yeah. That’s the vibe.
💡 Not stories of escape. But stories of strategy.
This isn’t about going off-grid.
It’s not about becoming a farmer or meditating in a hut with no Wi-Fi (though, hey, no judgment).
This is about people building innovative, even tech-driven businesses from places no one expected.
Not in spite of being remote — but precisely because they are.
People who don’t need fake Zoom backgrounds.
People who just tilt the camera slightly and show a pine forest, or a coastline, or a hilltop village outside the window.
🎙️ That’s what our new series is all about.
Remote Workers for Remote Villages is a 10-part live webinar series, running from July through December, created in partnership with Kinsta, ITS Journal, Nomag Media, and Smart Working Magazine.
Each episode brings you the real stories of people working from — and with — remote places across Italy (and beyond).
Not romantic clichés.
Not lifestyle influencers.
But founders, freelancers, researchers, developers, and local administrators doing real work from real villages.
📅 We’re kicking things off on July 29
To get things rolling (and annoy you just a little), I’ve decided to post a few shots of my workspace.
No filter. No green screen. Just a window and a view.

🙋 Want to show off your view too?
We’re looking for people to join the conversation.
👉 Got a cool story about working from a remote place?
👉 Want to show us what’s behind your desk?
👉 Know a small town doing something smart for remote workers or digital nomads?
Write to us!!!
You might be in the next episode. Or at least make someone enviously inspired.
Because working remotely doesn’t mean disappearing.
It means reappearing somewhere unexpected. With full signal, a coffee, and maybe a mountain view.
See you on the 29th.
Bring your window.
