Let’s get this out of the way immediately:
No, we’re not inviting you to live in our house.
Mostly because we don’t actually have a house.
Not a fixed one, at least. The Nomag team lives between flights, small towns, coworking spaces, hotel lobbies with surprisingly good Wi-Fi, and the occasional relative’s sofa that becomes “HQ” for a week.
But today’s Pulse comes with a double announcement — one serious, one slightly ridiculous, and both surprisingly logical.
1) We’re officially opening the door for you to work with us - BOOM!
2) And since we can’t really offer you a place to live… we partnered with Coliving.com so someone else can.
Yes, both things are true.
Yes, this is an extremely Nomag way of doing things.
Let’s start with the work part.
Over the past months, many of you wrote to us saying something along the lines of:
“I love the Nomag vibe. Can I write for you? Contribute? Do something with the team?”
So we finally said — fine, let’s make this official.
This is not one of those corporate “we’re hiring for a dynamic, fast-paced environment” announcements. If you’ve been around Nomag for more than three minutes, you know we don’t do corporate language. We barely do fixed schedules.
What we do have is a community of 60,000+ readers, a fast-growing ecosystem, and a constant need for voices, stories, contributors, curious minds, and people who can turn their lived experience into something useful or entertaining for others.
So yes:
Come work with us. Write with us. Build with us. Travel with us.
Whatever your version looks like.
We’re not building a newsroom — we’re building a network of humans who live life on the move and know how to turn it into something meaningful.
The full contributor call is just below, in a clean separate section, so we won’t repeat it here.
But the spirit is simple:
If you have a story, we want to hear it.
If you have ten, even better.
And now: let’s talk about where you’ll live while you do it.
Here’s the irony:
We’re opening up a chance to collaborate with Nomag…
but Nomag itself doesn’t have an office, a headquarters, or a “base.”
We work from everywhere, nowhere, and wherever the Wi-Fi is just strong enough but the coffee is culturally acceptable.
So we thought:
If we can’t give you a place to live, maybe we can at least find you a great one.
Enter: Coliving.com.
We’ve just partnered with them because — and let’s say this clearly — they’re the platform for finding genuinely cool coliving spaces around the world. Not dorms. Not student houses. Real, grown-up coliving. Spaces where people with remote jobs, creative projects, actual careers, companies, and lives come together without having to choose between community and privacy.
And no, coliving isn’t just for 22-year-olds in Bali trying to finish their startup pitch deck before sunset yoga.
If anything, the best coliving spots today are full of:
people in their 30s and 40s reinventing their work life
remote professionals saving themselves from loneliness
founders escaping the “I pay €2,400 a month and still live like a student” trap
creatives and executives who like humans but not too many humans
Exactly the Nomag demographic.
So while we can’t offer you a spare room in our non-existent headquarters, we can offer you this:
a world map full of places where you can live well while working with us, near us, or around people like us.
A proper partnership. A real solution.
And a perfect excuse to try a month somewhere new.
We’ve also published a full separate article (“Why Coliving Still Makes Sense”) with the Nomag tone — relaxed, direct, zero marketing fluff — so if you want to go deeper, that’s your next click.
So… We were saying… Work with us.
Your stories. Our community. One big moving ecosystem.
The nomad world doesn’t need another generic blog post about “best backpacks for remote work.”
What it does need is your voice — original, curious, imperfect, honest, funny when appropriate, useful when possible.
If you live remotely, travel often, reinvent your life every few months, or have simply collected enough “this only happens to nomads” moments… we want to hear from you.
Nomag welcomes new contributors who think, write, and observe the world with intention.
